The Study
There is a lot of interesting music in this film. A group head out to a fairly remote cabin, at first only mentioning how much they are looking forwards to getting paid to do “that type of thing”. Then they fall into an evening of drinking and partying while taking pills as part of the “study” to a cool retro soundtrack. After throwing a ball that vanishes and reappears somewhere else things take a dark turn, it’s not exactly Evil Dead but it’s does get creepy and ends of a cliffhanger. But displays some really imaginative ideas more akin to Cabin the Woods, topped with great acting and a suitably tense atmosphere, it would be really good to see this play out into something more. 8/10 Continue reading Short movie Roundup Mar 10 2019
